What we pride ourselves most on, is our wide variety of systems to solve any problem. In addition to the thousands of private homes we have waterproofed, anchored or piered, we have completed many commercial projects including: schools, churches, condos, restaurants, apartment complexes, water treatment plants, universities, hospitals and professional buildings.
We use Supportworks wall anchors for basement wall straightening and Supportworks piers for lifting and stabilizing settling foundations. With Woods Basement Systems, Inc., you get just what you need to fix your problem -- that means the best value available. Furthermore, we do not use high-pressure sales techniques, nor will we sell you something that you do not need. Of course, all of our work comes with a written warranty.

Rick & Anna Lee Woods
Rick and Anna Lee Woods have been keeping basements dry in the Illinois and Missouri area since 1986. A true family business, their children all play active roles in the business. Rick and his family have grown the business into one of the largest basement waterproofing, basement wall straightening and foundation piering contractors in the area. Woods Basement Systems, Inc. continues to be family owned and operated, celebrating over 30 years in business!
History of Woods Basement Systems
In 1986, Rick and Anna Lee Woods, with a partner, started a waterproofing company called Basement DeWatering Systems Metro-East, Inc. In 1988, Rick bought out his partner and the name was changed to Woods Waterproofing, Inc. The company name was then changed to Woods Basement Systems, Inc. in 1991 for advertising reasons.
Our Federal Tax ID number has never changed, so we have always maintained our corporate identity and all contractual warranties. There are approximately 400 Basement Systems dealers in three countries. Rick's wife Anna Lee, son Wayne, daughter Susan, son-in-law Tim and cousin Chris Blickenstaff are all management-level employees of Woods Basement Systems, with his grandkids: Alli, Drew, Nick, Jack, twins Sophie & Lily, Rachel, Mary, and Sarah being the "real" bosses.
As you can see, this is a family business. Today, we are one of the largest basement waterproofing, basement wall straightening and foundation piering contractors in Illinois and Missouri. In 2005 we became the world's largest Basement Systems dealer - topping those 300+ dealers in seven countries!

Presently, our company operates from our main administrative office, a 16,000 square foot facility in Collinsville, IL. Our professional staff of support personnel and sales representatives are always available to serve you. Meanwhile, our installation teams operate on a 20-acre property at the western edge of town.
