In order to reinforce the damaged walls, a Woods Basement Systems team led by foreman Jeremy installed several GeoLock wall supports. These work by connecting heavy anchors buried deep in the firm soil far from the home to steel plates affixed to the interior surface of the walls, effectively pulling them outward over time. Brian can rest easy now that his walls are secured. 

Tom H. of Moscow Mills, Missouri called Woods Basement Systems out of concern for his foundation. His home was severely settled, leading to cracking around doorways and windows and in the exterior brickwork. Knowing that the problem would only get worse, he was in need of immediate help. 

Foreman Miguel and his team got to work quickly, installing 12 Low-Profile Push Piers underneath the foundation. These galvanized steel supports are inserted into small holes in the ground and adjusted to raise the home back to level. They then remain in place to give additional support into the future life of the home.

Moscow Mills, Missouri homeowners Maureen and John had had cracks in the walls of their poured concrete basement walls for awhile. The cracks ran from the windows and were either horizontal or stairstep. When a crack formed in the upstairs living area the decided it was time to give Woods Basement Systems a call. System Design Specialist Thomas W. developed a plan to get their foundation sturdy. 

Foreman Jeremy R. and his crew installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors in the two walls of the basement. These cracks were being caused by the pressure of the dirt and water outside the home. Overtime it had caused the walls to bow and crack. 

Geo-Lock Wall Anchors are the perfect solution for this becasue they provide the resistance needed by the wall. By drilling a steel rod back into the inactive soil and attaching it to a steel anchor placed out there and a steel plate anchor on the interior wall, the rod can use the force of the Earth to straighten the wall. As it needs more resistance the rods can be tightened from inside the home to return the wall to its original poisition. 

Maureen and John can now rest assured their home will be sturdy for decades to come. 

John and Maureen of Moscow Mills, Missouri worried about the condition of their caving walls. System design specialist, Thomas W inspected their home and provide the couple with his recommendation.

Thomas recommended the use of Geo-Lock wall anchors, which permanently stabilizes the walls. Geo-Lock anchors are the perfect solution for caving walls because these anchors lock the walls in place so that there is no need to worry about the future stability of the walls.

The water created a musty environment and risked mold. System Design Specialist Tim W. designed a solution to keep her basement dry.

Foreman Melvin F. installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects water and guides it to a sump pump and away from the basement. CleanSpace was installed to the walls. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier, so it prevents water from entering the basement and does not support mold growth. In addtion to WaterGuard and CleanSpace, the SunHouse window well was installed. SunHouse prevents debris and water from piling into the window well.

Donna B was concerned when she noticed that her basement walls were beginning to bow. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Brandon B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in Donna’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to stable soil away from the house the other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls.

Rose Ann H. of Moscow Mills, MO had a tilting wall in her garage. The garage was partially underground so over time, pressure from the soil on the outside of the wall had caused the wall to lean inward at the top. The leaning wall had caused cracks to form on the ceiling of the wall so she called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Design Specialist Chris T. inspected the inside and outside of the garage and recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.

Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed along the garage wall. They counteract pressure from the soil by connect earth anchors buried in the yard to steel wall plates on the inside of the wall with a galvanized steel anchor rod. The rods are tightened to permanently stabilize the wall in place. The walls can be straightened over time, in most cases, as well by tightening the rods during dry periods.

Rose Ann H. has peace of mind that her walls are stable and she can safely keep her cares in the garage.

Allen P. of Moscow Mills, MO had cracks in the walls of his basement. He was told that the cracks were a sign of a failing foundation. Woods Basement Systems had the perfect product to give the home permanent support.

Woods installed GeoLock wall anchors to fix the support of the home. The anchors would support the structure until it is torn down because it is anchored past the active zone of the yard. The anchors are attached to the wall and extend into the yard. Anchoring past the active zone is important to keeping the house stable and the solution being long term. 

Dave and Dorthy H. of Moscow Mills, MO had water leaking into their basement through the cracks in their walls. The water had become a serious issue because it was making the space unusable. Dave and Dorthy were also concerned that the cracks in the walls were due to a failing foundation. Woods Basement Systems was able to install products to keep water out and the house supported.

Woods installed GeoLock wall anchors to fix the support of the home. The anchors would support the structure until it is torn down because it is anchored past the active zone of the yard. The anchors are attached to the wall and extend into the yard. Anchoring past the active zone is important to keeping the house stable and the solution being long term. 

Woods also installed Push Piers to help correct the settling foundation. Push Piers are installed to lift the settling foundation and keep it from settling into the ground further. Dave and Dorthy will no longer have to worry about their house sinking into the ground.

WaterGuard was installled to help drain unwanted water out of the basement. WaterGuard is installed in the cement of the flooring against the walls. This allows water to enter the piping and be drained to prevent damages to the home and personal belongings.

CleanSpace was also installed on the basement walls to provide protection to the home. CleanSpace sealed off the basement to keep water out but also guided the water that got in to the WaterGuard. 

Finally, a Twin Pack sump pump was installed to evacuate unwanted water. The sump pump will pump the water out through a discharge line that leads the water to the yard. This line can become clogged or frozen at times, in order to prevent the water from receding back into the basement, Woods installed IceGuard. IceGuard is installed on the discharge line next to the house and allows water to escape through it when it is necessary. 

Donna B., Moscow Mills, Missouri resident, was troubled by her bowing foundation walls. As the walls bowed under pressure, they began to crack and allow water to leak into the basement. System design specialist Brandon B. designed a solution to keep the basement dry and her foundation supported.
