Woods installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the cracked foundation walls. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract the external pressure from unstable soil conditions that damage foundation walls. To do this, they drove galvanized steel anchor rods through the walls and connected them to earth anchors buried in stable soil conditions in the yard. The rods are attached to steel wall plates on the inside of the walls and tightened to permanently stabilize the walls in place and prevent future damage to the walls.

Woods installed WaterGuard under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is an interior drainage system that sits on top of the concrete footing of the home to keep it free from silt and plant roots. It catches water from foundation walls and floors before it can enter the basement and directs it to the sump pump.

The TripleSafe was installed to collect the intruding water and expel it safely away from the basement through its discharge lines. The TripleSafe offers multiple layers of protection from flooding because it contains three powerful pumps, including a battery back up pump, so the basement will remain dry even in severe weather or power outages.

IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines on the exterior of the home to prevent water from backing up into the basement. In the event that the lines become frozen or blocked by snow, the IceGuards have slotted openings that allow trapped water to escape into the yard.

Unstable exterior soil conditions on the exert pressure on foundation walls which causes the type of damage Anthony was experiencing in his home. Woods installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the cracked walls to counteract that pressure. To do this, they connected earth anchors embedded in stable soil conditions in the yard to wall plates on the inside of the foundation walls with galvanized steel anchor rods. The system is then tightened to permanently stabilize the walls in place.

If William didn't do something soon, the wall was in danger of collapsing. So William called Woods Basement Systems, Inc. 

Geo-Lock wall anchors were used to straighten everything out. By drilling  thin rods through the collapsing basement wall and past the active layer of dirt around the basement,  earth anchors are able to be attached to the rods, stabilizing the falling wall. Over time, this can even straighten out the wall all together.
