Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Jeffrey A. of Fairview Heights, Illinois noticed that his home's basement was collecting water even though he had a working sump pump. He did not want to ignore the problem and have to clean up a mess after every heavy rain shower, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.

Design specialist Steve K. assessed the situation and came up with the perfect solution. Foreman Jose L. then traveled to the home to install a Waterguard drainage system and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.

The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. After the installation was complete, the Waterguard was covered with concrete. The Waterguard drainage system collects any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. It then drains the water to the sump pump.

Sherri P. of Fairview Heights, Illinois needed to have some preventative waterproofing work done, so she called Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Adam R. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard. 

Foreman, Melvin F. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump uses its three-in-one design to keep your home safe with a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a backup battery-powered pump. WaterGuard is located in the perimeter of the basement floor and it works to collect water that seeps through the basement walls. It then takes that water and guides it to the sump pump to be fully removed from the home. 

Now Sherri P. has a dry basement. 

This Fairview Heights, Illinois basement was healthy and dry, but only when the weather wasn't rainy. To protect this home from water damaged in the finished space, WaterGuard drains were installed around the perimeter of the basement by Team Woods. 

Water was leaking down the walls in a basement in Fairview Heights, IL, so a partial CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water from permeating the basement wall and will drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes.
