A basement was leaking in East Alton, Il, causing damage. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was first installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Next, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from common problems with an ordinary pump. The TripleSafe can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. These systems will ensure that the basement stays dry and clean for years to come!

A basement in East Alton, Illinois, had some interior cracks starting to form, as well as water seepage coming in through the walls. To fix these issues, Woods came out and installed a few products. The first system they installed was the CleanSpace System. This system consists of a highly durable sheet that is attached directly to the wall. It will catch the water seeping in through the walls and drain it down to the floor below. The WaterGuard system was the next installed to catch the water from the CleanSpace. This system collects water and directs it to the sump pump nearby. Plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. The last install was to address the stability issues of the home. The PowerBrace System consists of zinc-plated steel beams custom fit to the basement height. They are secured to the wall and floor and are anchored to the support beams that hold up the floor. This system can be tightened over time, allowing for adjustments to prevent wall failure. With these installs in place, this basement is sure to stay dry and stable for many years to come.
Heather of Brighton, Illinois needed a new sump pump for her basement. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Nolan M. developed a plan for her.
Foreman Greg H. and his crew installed the TripleSafe sump pump for her. The TripleSafe is our surest way to a dry basement becuase of the three pumps it has. The primary pump is on when needed, the secondary pump kicks on when the primary pump is overwhelmed or goes out. This could be the case in a plumbing break or circut break. The third pump is a battery operated pump that kicks on when the first two are overwhelmed or the power goes out.
Heather now has a dry basement she can trust.
