Simply painting a wall does not keep the water out. Groundwater was bleeding through the foundation wall and seeping in at the wall-floor joint. To make matters worse, the foundation had settled. Woods Basement Systems installed push piers to stabilize the foundation and protect against further settlement, and the crew installed additional WaterGuard perimeter drainage to complete the existing waterproofing system and keep the whole basement dry.

Water was leaking around a water heater in a basement in Affton, MO, causing concern for the homeowners. To solve this issue, the TrenchDrain System was first installed. This surface drainage system will catch the water that leaks through the door before it can enter the basement. The WaterGuard System will also help carry this water as well as any that leaks down the walls and guide it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system will drain water from the WaterGuard and from below the basement floor and will discharge out of the house. It also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water.
Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona was installed. This efficient, high-capacity, dehumidification system also includes an air filtration system, all in a single unit. This system wrings the air dry, and its powerful blower moves the dry air in and around the area. It also automatically drains the water it catches into the sump system, so there is no need to empty any bucket with this system. This basement will now stay dry all the time thanks to these systems!

Next, He installed our CleanSpace Wall System on the part of her wall that was leaking. CleanSpace provides a vapor barrier, drains water behind it, into the WaterGaurd and dramatically brightens the basement. A CleanSpace vapor barrier system is unlike any other because this system is made out of inorganic materials. This means that if water were to leak inside, no mold would be able to develop. The barrier system will also keep out water leaks by repelling the water.
